Dear Students & Families,

My name is Mrs. Wendy Rothrock, and I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself. First, let me tell you that I am so excited to be your child’s 4th grade teacher this year! This is my eleventh year of teaching, and I absolutely LOVE what I do. I am really eager to get started this school year and meet some new TCS students that I have not had the chance to connect with before. 😊
Here is a little bit of my background information. I grew up in Delaware, Ohio, which is just North of Columbus, and I have three younger siblings. I have many wonderful nieces and nephews but no children of my own. I currently reside on the west side of town with my husband, Mr. Rothrock, and our 3 small “fur babies” Belle, Fiona and Lola. I have lived here in Tiffin for 11 years and I really like it here.
On a personal note, I can tell you that I love to read, jet ski, play video games, be outside, spend time at the lake, watch movies, and take nature walks. My favorite place to visit is the zoo. I also like Minions, baseball, OSU football, dragons, unicorns, and anything sci-fi! Pizza is my favorite food, and purple is my favorite color. I consider myself a “dog” person, but I did grow up with numerous cats.
On a more serious note, I promise that I will be doing my best to ensure that your child receives the best education possible this year, and to help foster that commitment, you will be hearing from me on a regular basis through newsletters, e-mails, phone calls, and video messages. I love to hear from parents, grandparents, and guardians, so please feel free to contact me about anything! I will do my best to get back with you as soon as I can. My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to chatting with you soon. Take care and have a wonderful day!
